The game is not monetized solely through the gem store.īut a one time use is kind of obviously a ONE time use, no? It’s like whining over an apple only being a one time eating.Īnd also hello and welcome to the real world, it’s spelled money and having cash to run the show. (Game Sales, Gem Sales, Future Expansions). #Trade Soulbound Items Wow Hack skinAnd Anet can make money selling each skin once by making them All account bound. Most people will only buy cosmetic items once. If there ever comes a time when you start seeing gem prices drop down into the 100 for 1 gold area, you will see a sale or a special occasion. Look at gem prices, they continue to climb, because people buy stuff. And when they start releasing even more and better looking cosmetic items into the gemstore, they will do it more. They have been doing it and will continue to do it. Regardless of whether you think it’s a not too bright move for someone to buy something for each of their toons, people will do it. Your wants and desires do enter the equation, but going account bound on gemstore cosmetics will hurt the game in the long run. They want to keep the servers open, they want people to play their game, to share their world. While it may be a super cuddly nice happy thing to do, it doesn’t make any business sense. They have sales all the time to incentivize items, to make people want to buy. It won’t make people want to buy more, it does the opposite. Why should they? Why should they make cosmetic items that are one of the only ways to keep this game running for EVERYONE, able to be worn by all your toons? There is zero incentive to do that. #Trade Soulbound Items Wow Hack how toI don’t even know how to reply to this, but I’ll try. And, should be able to have all my alts ware them. ![]() People buy them! I own the skins I bought. Toons don’t buy gem store clothing for personal use. I look at it as buying a set.Īnet wants more profits then they release more sets of clothing. I also want the male and female versions to be included in the sale. Who is going to give Anet money to buy the same same twice. That would sorta kill any profits wouldn’t it, you know…the way they keep the game open? Unfortunately, it seems to have been a lucrative one, subscription wise, because that concept not only hasn’t died but has expanded to far more item types in the MMOs to follow.Īll the gem store skins should be account-bound. 0_o But to limit what you’re allowed to do with your own armor? It was an lolworthy notion. Why? Hell if we could think of a good reason besides forcing you to grind more and thus keeping your subscription active longer. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the game has a system, unlike any game I had previously played, in which the armor you worked so hard for is STUCK on your character. The guy in our group that ran a hunter got some awesome leather drops early, so of course we were super excited for him to pass those on to our rogues. So when my friends and I joined the game, we constantly discussed who was getting whose hand-me-downs. I remember the first time I played WoW- having spent all my time in games like Ultima Online, EVE and Shadowbane I had never heard of the “soulbound” concept before. ![]() Making them account bound would be better for the players only and wouldn’t hurt the market (I don’t think there’s people who’d be willing to farm two or more of the same legendary for their characters), so if they’re feeling nice they could do it… You’d reach a point somewhere in the future where you could have 100~ of some legendary from people wanting gold, their value would decrease but not their grind to obtain, and so gold itself would become cheaper and cheaper (meaning stuff would cost a lot more gold) because there isn’t any gold disappearing from the market (while it keeps incoming). That means nearly all crafted items wouldn’t ever “disappear” from the market. If you crafted a legendary and it wasn’t soulbound, it means after getting tired of it you could sell to someone else who wants it. With the email validation thing the chances you get hacked are even less than usual, but I think the “soulbound” stuff isn’t there mainly for hacking protection, but just as another money sink in the game. #Trade Soulbound Items Wow Hack codeIf you have a database of “trades” (if player trade was available, so let’s just say mails), you can easily get a code to track to where the item went.Īnd maybe making something to “redo” the transaction or something. I was thinking about this “soulbound” stuff too, and I think it’s overrated. ![]()
